Well, most of the cache cleaning software gets rid of cookies except for flash cookies. Many security experts (excluding me :D) pointed out that these may be security risk. These persistent flash cookies stored some where else other than your temporary internet files (IE) and/or profile (Firefox).

In windows 7, flash cookies are in C:\users\Your_login_ID\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys\ and you can empty the folder.


In Ubuntu, they lie in /home/Your_login_ID/.macromedia/Flash_Player/macromedia.com/support/flashplayer/sys.
